Keith T Francis  -  Artist  

Growing up in northeast London Keith T Francis sketched extensively, yet only began painting seriously later in life. Now based in Buckinghamshire in the UK, Keith is a contemporary figurative painter working exclusively in oils and watercolour. His paintings hang throughout the UK and in many parts of the world.

Keith is an unashamedly a realist artist specialising in portraiture, marine and London cityscapes, and as such light plays an important part in much of his work. Where relevant he looks to suggest narrative or mystery into his pieces requiring the observer to form their own interpretation.  

 

A member of The Figurative and Representational Artist Group (FRAG), West Wycombe Art Group and a regular exhibitor at Bucks Art Weeks,  Keith Francis has exhibited across Buckinghamshire, with the FRAG exhibition at York Street Gallery, Ramsgate, UK. and London.  

 

In London he exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibitions in the Mall Galleries, the Hampstead Art  Society annual exhibition at the Fitzroy Gallery, and with the FRAG exhibition York Street Gallery

 

​Keith Francis painted a portrait of the international sculptor Andrew Sinclair MRBS sculpting the David Bowie statue which now stands in the Market Square, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, UK. His painting of the sculpture was exhibited at the statue’s unveiling in March 2018.
